2009 Tractor Nuts - 9th/10th May
They came from north, south, east and west in their Nuffield 10/60's, Masseys, Fords and John Deeres. More than 400 tractor enthusiasts and all who were up for a bit of fun flocked to Borris to support two very worthwhile charitable causes and enjoy a beautiful sunny day out with family and friends. To date €107,500 has been raised for the Irish Cancer Society and the Irish Kidney Association. Let's aim to collectively increase that figure in 2010 and have a very enjoyable day out too! All are encouraged to take to the road with their tractors and that includes the Ladies, who had a very successful dedicated Ladies Tractor Run for the first time ever on the 9th May 2009 - see an Irish Times slideshow of it here.
